These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MCPCMD website located at https://mcpcmd.com (the “Service”), operated by MCPCMD (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
MCPCMD is a curated directory of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. The Service allows users to browse, search, and submit MCP server listings. Submitted listings are reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to accept, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. User Accounts
Certain features of the Service (such as submitting or managing MCP listings) may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Submitting MCP Listings
4.1 Accuracy
When submitting an MCP server listing, you represent and warrant that:
- All information provided is accurate, current, and complete
- You are the owner or authorised representative of the MCP server, or have permission to submit it
- The submission does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
4.2 Content standards
Submitted listings must not:
- Contain malware, malicious code, or links to harmful content
- Be deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
- Contain spam, excessive self-promotion, or irrelevant content
4.3 Licence grant
By submitting a listing, you grant MCPCMD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute the submitted content (name, description, logo, URLs, tags) on the Service and in promotional materials for the Service.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content from the Service without our prior written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Submit false, misleading, or duplicate listings
- Use automated tools to submit listings without our express permission
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
6. Intellectual Property
Our content
The MCPCMD name, logo, website design, and original content (excluding user-submitted listings) are owned by or licensed to MCPCMD and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
Third-party content
MCP server listings may include names, logos, and descriptions that are the intellectual property of their respective owners. MCPCMD does not claim ownership of any listed MCP server or its associated intellectual property.
7. Third-Party Links
The Service contains links to external websites including GitHub repositories, npm packages, and documentation sites. These links are provided for convenience only. MCPCMD does not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any linked third-party website. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by their own terms and policies.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
MCPCMD does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any MCP server listed on the Service is safe, reliable, or fit for your intended use
- Information in listings is accurate or up to date
You use any listed MCP server entirely at your own risk. Always review the source code and documentation of any MCP server before installing or using it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MCPCMD and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any MCP server you discover through or install via the Service
- Any errors or omissions in listings
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed USD $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MCPCMD and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your submitted listings; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the applicable jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
